Tax and payment optimisation for a logistics company

An international logistics company (EU, Turkey, the Caucasus) with a beneficiary who was a Polish resident and turnover of $20–50M faced high taxes on transport activity, difficulties with international payments and restrictions on its routes.

We analysed the jurisdictions and proposed:
-
Cyprus: favourable conditions for transport and shipping companies.
-
Switzerland (canton of Zug): low taxes for logistics holding companies.
-
UAE (RAK Free Zone): convenient conditions for international contracts.

We built a structure that allows working with foreign counterparties on favourable terms, reducing the tax burden and simplifying international settlements.
